JB, you have always been in my thoughts. I’ve been through something kind of similar and I can understand at least in some small way what you have went through. I miss you and will be here when you are ready to come back. Take all the time you need. You and your loved ones come first.

I understand. My mom passed in May, but her death was unexpected, if not unanticipated. I had a bad feeling about the procedure, but it was elective with low risk and she should have survived. I'm glad I got my DNA done last Thanksgiving and learned the family stories while filling out the family tree. I hesitate to say that this has been the worst year, as I have had years where my own health was worse, like 2019 when I spent a month in hospitals after heart attack and cardiac arrest. We both finally saw the Northern Lights for the first time, which was on her bucket list, the weekend before she died. Now that our mom is gone, my brother seems to have become even more alcoholic and anorexic and won't seek help. I don't know if he will survive the year. My aunt and her husband are my next closest relatives, and she has to get a nuclear scan and they were still waiting to see if he had leukemia last I heard. My closest friend in town - not that we're close, but we talk on fb regularly - was just told he has a malignant brain tumor. But in good news, rheumatology started me on a med that helps enough with my post-covid fibromyalgia that I feel able to look for work again! 😀 Unfortunately, there are some annoying side effects, like sweating, bruising, urination problems, and... being able to work again. 😉 I hope your year improved. May whatever you believe in give you strength. If you need someone to talk to...

I lost my Grandmother a couple of years ago. My mother took it pretty hard, especially since she couldn't attend her funeral; she lived 1,300 miles away from us and it was still post-COVID restrictions. My thoughts and prayers to your family.

Oh JB I’ve also lost two family members to PF so I can empathize. One was too slow and one was too fast. Grief is so individual and difficult it can almost be impossible to explain at times. Please take as much time as you need to recover. My thoughts and prayers are with you ❤

Your work helped me tremendously when my own mother passed last year. She had many bounce back periods too. I know that feeling of hope and decline all too well. We knew she was not going to make it when she was diagnosed with the same terminal cancer my aunt, her sister, passed from, and it was brutal knowing we were going to lose mom too. Your channel has always been a comfort to me in several terrible times. I am so thankful for your hard work. I wish you well in your journey of healing. Sending you so much love!! Grieving a loved one after a decline due to terminal illness is so so hard. Grieving a loved one period is so so hard. Wishing your wonderful support system to continue being as good as it seems to be. Entirely separate (bc you innately as a human deserve support and empathy and love, and I don’t ever wanna get that mixed up) you send out so much love and light with your videos and your overall messaging. I hope you can receive tenfold what good you have put out into the world ❤

Dear Jellybean Green, I was deeply saddened to hear of your mother's passing after her long battle with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis,.,.. The fluctuating health she endured last year must have been incredibly challenging for you and your family. In times of grief,,.. many find comfort in the belief that we are reunited with our loved ones after this temporary human existence. This idea crosses various cultures and faiths, offering a glimmer of hope that our separation is only brief. Christianity, for instance, reassures us with the words, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:4), promising peace beyond our current sorrows,,.... The Bhagavad Gita teaches about the eternal nature of the soul, suggesting that our essence never dies but continues its journey beyond this life. Buddhism, too, speaks of life's impermanence and the importance of accepting natural cycles, including the inevitability of death. Having faced significant loss myself, I find solace in these teachings, which help soften the pain of separation by reminding us that our current parting is just a brief pause in the eternal journey of our spirits. When my Mom, MIL and Grandmother all passed between September 2021 and January 2022 it was a pretty crappy time in life. More than anything, I pray for peace for all of us going through loss and navigating health issues of those we love. My dad has just finished his second run of radiation/chemo and so far so good. Sorry to ramble, myself. Thank you for even the compilations. Even on a break, you have helped me navigate my journey to find relaxation over the last 4 years. ❤

Sorry for your loss. Both my parents passed about a year apart, one from a long slow decline the other suddenly. When the constants in ones life are gone it really shifts the sand that we stand on. It caused me to question who I was going forward, a question that I'm stilling trying to answer. Its okay to be sad, let the tears flow.

Caring for a parent who is ill or declining is physically and emotionally exhausting. And losing someone slowly like this is also, separately, emotionally exhausting. Please don't feel like you owe anybody outside your immediate family anything while you're going through the grieving process and recovering from this draining, horrible year. I hope next year will be better for you and yours. ❤

I lost my mom in late July from Liver cancer. It was such a strain having to stand by and watch her suffer knowing there is nothing my dad and I could do except hope she was going to get better and she never did. Watching your videos helps me greatly to deal with the loss and pain. Thank you so much. ❤❤❤❤
